Direct Shear Test Apparatus

This instrument is mainly used to measure the shear strength of soil. Four soil samplesare usually used. Under different vertical pressures (400kPa, 300kPa, 200KPa,100KPA, 50kPa) respectively, horizontal force is applied to shear to obtain the shear stress at failure, and then the shear strength parameters, internal friction angle and cohesion of soil are determined according to Coulomb's law.

The area of the sample is 30cm 2 and the height is 20 mm.

The vertical grading loading of 50, 100, 200, 300, 400 kPa (the first load of the hanging pan)
