Efflux Index Flow Coefficient of Fine Aggregates Apparatus

Efflux Index (Flow Coefficient of Fine Aggregates) Apparatus is used to obtain information about the shape and the angularity of grains of fine aggregates.
The flow coefficient of an aggregate is the time, expressed in seconds, for a specified volume of aggregate to flow through a given opening,under specified conditions using a standard apparatus.
The fine aggregate flow time tester is composed of a metal cylinder with a diameter of 90mm and a height of 125mm, and a replaceable metal funnel with an opening of 60 degrees at the lower part. 
The funnel is smooth inside, and the diameter of its outflow hole is 12mm or 16mm. 
The upper part is connected with the screw thread and the cylinder. 
There is a rotating baffle under the funnel, and a container for storing 3 kg fine aggregate is placed under the tester.
